I recently had the pleasure of working with Zachary from Lantz Home Services, and I can’t recommend him enough! Over the weekend, my rental property suddenly had no water, and Lantz Home Services was quick to respond and updated me that I was third on the list. Once Zachary was finished his previous job, he called me beforehand, listened to what had happened, and was able to pretty much diagnose the issue before even seeing it in person — which already told me he knew his stuff. When he arrived at the property, he gave me a call right away since I wasn’t on site. He explained exactly what was wrong, provided upfront pricing, and even offered to give me a quote for replacing two hose bibs while he was there. His communication was top-notch from start to finish. Zachary completed the work quickly and professionally, replaced the property owner's shut-off valve, and installed two new hose bibs. He took the extra step to send me photos of the repairs so I could see the quality of the work. Everything was done neatly, per code, and tested before he left. What really stood out was his professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care in making sure everything was done right. Lantz Home Services as a whole also impressed me — they were responsive, organized, and clearly have skilled tradespeople like Zachary representing their company. I had work previously done with them with my grinder pump, I believe I had Eduardo, and they were also very thorough with that and even sent me video of the grinder pump alarm working with the alarm sounding off. If you’re looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, communicative, and efficient, I highly recommend Zachary and Eduardo at Lantz Home Services. I will absolutely be using them again in the future!

I had an outdoor faucet that was leaking inside the wall. Wes showed up later than the window I was given, however I do understand that things can get thrown off kilter for whatever reason. Wes didn’t have the type of faucet needed and he was going to have to chip out the masonry and rock to access the inside to definitely know what happened. So he gave me an estimate of $744 ($69 service charge plus $675 unique quote) BUT he will NOT repair the rock and masonry removed. He would come back the next day. I agreed and found out the next day that a plumber charges $175 an hour!!! Day one he was here 40 minutes! Day two he was here 1 hour 50 minutes with the faucet and Jack hammer. Round up to 3 total hours and that comes to $525? So the parts and knocking out wall must be $150? I can’t believe that I was charged a service fee since he did the repair, but what am I gonna do? Wes was a professional and nice guy. PS-THE MASONRY REPAIR COST ME ANOTHER $312! UGH. Also ridiculous!!! Owner replied they would contact me Monday, but here it is Tuesday and I have not heard from them? Update: 10 days after owner responded…he NEVER CONTACTED ME! UPDATE: I’m very happy to report that Jacob DID call me to discuss! There was miscommunication/lack of communication on their end with new guy. Jacob wanted to give me a full refund, but I said NO. I don’t want to stiff them anymore than I want them to stiff me!!! I insisted on paying half which he accepted. The company has 5 star reviews which is why I picked them. This company really relies on the reviews and he wanted to make things right. Thank you very much Jacob. I appreciate you and your company. I will definitely use them again.

12/15/23. I had an issue with a toilet that would not flush a few days ago. Lantz's sent out Willie K. to diagnose & repair. We replaced the old toilet but this did not work. Willie promised me at that point that he was going to figure it out & get it fixed. He got his boss Mark M. involved. Willie returned for numerous days, checking the plumbing with a camera amongst other things. He worked on it repeatedly for several days & he finally replaced the toilet again with a different type & solved the problem. He worked his butt off, & between him & Mark M., problem solved with only minimal cost to me. Once again, hell of a job by Lantz's as always. Most plumbers would have just given up. Not these guys!!! Just can't say enough good things about these guys. I have used Lantz's several times for plumbing & AC. Great results every time. Way to go guys!!!! Thanks again!!! Steve Fox Monday 3/4/24. Had an issue with a propane leak on my spa heater. Mark M. came out & repaired the leak. Quality job & workmanship as always from Lantz's as always. Great company & great people. Steve Fox Thursday. 3/7/24. Yet another propane leak. This one was where the propane service entered the house. Called Lantz's and they sent Marcus L. out to fix the problem. He took care of the problem right away. As always, just another great experience with Lantz's. Just great service & great people. Steve Fox Tuesday. 7/9/24 Woke up this morning & my hot water recirculating pump wasn’t working. Called Brittany M. at Lantz's. She dispatched technician Toby right away. When he arrived, he checked the pump & it was dead. He called his boss Mark M. who went to the warehouse & picked one up & brought it to Toby. He installed the new pump & everything is working great. As usual, just another fine job by Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing. These folks are as good as it gets. Very courteous, professional & well trained. When they are finished, they do a great cleanup & a final check of all the work. Great job guys!! Thanks Steve Fox Wednesday 7/10/24 Had an issue with my hot water heaters. Both op valves were leaking. Called Lantz's & they dispatched Marcus L. to my house. He replaced both valves. Problem solved. Once again a great experience with Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing & AC. Newest comments 4/19/25. Yes, had to call Lantz’s again. My A/C was not cooling the main part of the house. I called at 4:30 pm the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Greg W. came out within about an hour and found that the breakers were thrown. Once those were clicked on, the unit outside started up, but Greg knew right away that something wasn’t right. He checked the power in the line and recognized right away that I needed a new capacitor. He went to his truck and within moments had my A/C up and running like new. Greg was spot on and a great representative of Lantz’s. I’m so happy that as things tend to go wrong at my home, that I can depend on Lantz’s A/C and Plumbing to make it right even before a big holiday. Thank you Lantz’s! 2/13/25. Today Marcus L. came out with Lantz’s A/C and Plumbing. I have to say that so far, everyone that has been to my home from Lantz’s have been highly trained and really easy to work with, and Marcus was no exception. I had several issues for him to look at as my home was built in 2007; and of course, at that age, many things either need to be replaced or worked on. I had 2 issues with corrosion in my bathroom sink and shower levers. The shower needed a new insert, which Marcus replaced. As far as the sink handle…the whole faucet will have to be replaced. Marcus gave me a quote two ways…1 was for Lantz’s buying a replacement faucet and installing it and 2 was if I bought the new faucet and had them come out and install it. I think that’s great that there is a choice to be made, and I am looking into that now. Marcus also added salt to my water softener as it needed it and will come back out in a couple weeks to test my water softness and see if my old but current water softener is doing its job still. Just in case my water softener has gotten too old to do the job, Marcus gave me a quote for a new one just so I’d know what I’m up against. I am happy to have a great company like Lantz’s in my area, as they have always, for many years, done a great job on my home! New comments I saw water in the downstairs portion of my home and thought maybe it was my air conditioner, so I called Lantz’s and Steve, the technician, came out almost immediately. When I went to the guest room to show him access to the attic, there was water everywhere. Steve diagnosed the water was a water heater. He immediately cut off the water and called the appropriate technician. He waited until the plumbing division got there and showed them the problem. I had Lantz’s replace both water heaters, and they also called in a water remediation team to address all of the damage. The plumbing technicians did great work. If it wasn't for Lantz’s service, my losses would have been more than overwhelming. Even though I had to spend lots of money replacing my equipment, Lantz’s saved my home! I HIGHLY recommend them for any of your home needs. Older comments Charlie Brown; yes his real name, was great. He knew what he was doing as he had owned his own company before this for years. I felt sure that if I did have a problem with my A/C that he would figure it out fast. Update: Kyle came out yesterday and did a complete check of my furnace system. He was thorough and checked both units out in a professional manner and answered all questions I had. I am on a maintenance plan with Lantz’s, and I am very pleased and will renew again next year. Thanks Lantz’s Plumbing and A/C! Update: Today I had Byron Smith (GREAT GUY) come to my home to find what is in a drain pipe. I had several plumbers come out through a warranty company, but none of them had a camera. I called Lantz’s Plumbing on my own, they had a camera! They located the problem and are coming back out this week to cut open the wall and cut into the pipe and remove whatever this is. Had I gone with a plumber that did not have a camera, there would be many holes cut into the wall...it would have been a mess. Please, if you have something that might require some special treatment, don’t hesitate to call Lantz’s. This is for the business Lantz Home Services.
